SIZING & PRICING FAQs
To achieve a gallery-quality look, your artwork should occupy approximately 60% to 75% of the available wall space. If you are hanging a piece above furniture (like a sofa or credenza), aim for a width that is roughly two-thirds to three-quarters the width of the furniture piece itself. A print that is too small can "float" awkwardly, while a Hero piece (72") creates an immersive architectural focal point.
Due to the scale and premium nature of the materials, all Statement and Hero pieces are secured in custom-built, heavy-duty wooden crates. We utilize specialized fine-art freight carriers rather than standard parcel services to ensure white-glove handling. Every shipment is fully insured, and you will receive a tracking number the moment your piece leaves our Southern California studio.
A 72" x 54" museum acrylic print weighs approximately 55–65 lbs (increasing with custom framing options). To ensure absolute security and a flush, professional look, we utilize a heavy-duty French Cleat mounting system. This rail system distributes the weight evenly across your wall studs and allows for precise leveling during installation. All necessary mounting hardware and instructions are included with your crate. For a seamless experience, professional mounting is available upon request through our network of dedicated fine-art installation partners. Contact us for an installation quote today.
Yes, certainly! While we offer four curated size tiers for our limited editions, we understand that unique architectural spaces often require bespoke dimensions. If you need a specific panoramic crop or a custom scale to fit a particular niche, please visit our Bespoke Commissions & Trade (https://www.google.com/search?q=%23)page or contact the studio directly for a consultation.
To ensure your artwork perfectly complements your space and lighting, we offer three world-class archival finishes:
• TruLife® Anti-Reflective (Included): Our most popular gallery finish. It features a stunning high-gloss surface with a specialized anti-reflective coating that reduces glare while maintaining incredible color depth. It provides 99% UV protection and is scratch-resistant.
• P99 Matte Acrylic (Included): The best choice for spaces with extreme direct light or large windows. P99 has a frosted, non-glare surface that completely diffuses reflections. This creates a contemporary, "velvet" look that eliminates 100% of distracting light highlights.
• Optima Museum Acrylic (Available by Custom Quote): The absolute pinnacle of fine-art glazing. Optima is an optical-grade material that is virtually invisible, making it feel as though there is no barrier between you and the print. It offers the highest level of anti-reflective clarity and 99% UV protection. Due to its specialized manufacturing and premium cost, this is available for our Statement, Hero, and custom pieces upon request.
Unsure which finish is right fit for your space?
• Based in Southern California? We will gladly come to your space for an in-person consultation at no cost or commitment to you.
• Outside of SoCal? Simply send a photo of your wall to the studio, and we will provide a professional recommendation based on your room's specific light exposure and architectural style.
Most commercial acrylic prints use thin, "industrial-grade" plastics and basic adhesive mounting that can cause "silvering" or delamination over time. Our Museum-Grade process is an entirely different caliber of craftsmanship:
• Diamond-Polished Edges: Each piece of 1/4" or 3/8" acrylic is precision-cut and hand-polished with diamond-tipped tools. This creates a crystal-clear edge that pulls light into the print, giving the artwork an internal "glow" that standard "flame-polished" edges simply cannot replicate.
• Optical Purity: While standard acrylic has a slight "milky" or blue cast, our Museum Acrylic is chemically optimized for absolute neutral clarity. It acts as a high-definition lens, revealing micro-details in the Malibu coastline-from the texture of the sea foam to the subtle gradients of a Pacific sunset-that would otherwise be lost.
• Archival Longevity: We utilize a specialized [Dry-Mount / Face-Mount] process with 99% UV-filtering polymers. This creates a permanent, airtight bond that protects the pigments from oxidation and fading. Your investment is rated to remain color-fast and structurally perfect for over 100 years.
